DUELIST: PvP PC Controls
Default PC keybind overview
DUELIST: PvP on PC follows familiar FPS defaults: WASD movement, Space jump, Left Shift sprint or slide depending on beta build, Left Mouse fire, Right Mouse ADS, R reload, Q/E or number keys for weapon swap and utilities.
Melee or finisher keys often bind to V or F. Interact/graffiti placement uses E when not conflicting with lean. Crouch (C or Ctrl) enables headglitch peeks on low cover in 1v1 arenas from 1v1 arena guide.
Open settings from the lobby gear icon to verify current binds — beta patches occasionally shift defaults.
Mouse aim fundamentals
Raw input should stay enabled when available to bypass Windows acceleration. Set a comfortable DPI (400–1600 common) and pair with in-game sensitivity using our sensitivity guide.
Third-person camera introduces over-the-shoulder offset. Practice tracking targets moving laterally across your screen — duels rarely happen on static axes. Pre-aim corners before wide swinging to minimize adjustment distance.
For weapons in the tier list, SMGs reward tracking while DMRs reward click timing. Match practice weapons to your ranked loadout from loadout basics.
Movement tech on keyboard
Strafe-dodge during reload windows. Jump-crouch unpredictably when peeking tall cover — readable patterns get prefired in high ELO 1v1. Sprint cancel into ADS for aggressive pushes on weakened opponents.
Sound whoring with stereo headphones reveals reload cues. Bind push-to-talk if using Discord squad comms in 2v2/3v3 — open mic background noise hurts clutch awareness.
Lower graphics settings if frame drops cause input lag. Stable 60+ FPS matters more than max textures in ranked duels.
PC-specific settings checklist
Disable mouse acceleration in Windows. Cap FPS sensibly if your monitor is 60Hz — excessive uncapped FPS wastes GPU. Fullscreen borderless reduces alt-tab delay when checking active codes between matches.
Consider higher FOV if the setting exists — wider view helps third-person corner clears at cost of distant target size. Document your final sens in the presets tool for backup after reinstalls.
