How we rank weapons
Weapon balance in DUELIST: PvP beta shifts frequently. Our tier list weighs time-to-kill (TTK), consistency at duel range (8–25 meters), mobility impact, skill floor, and performance across 1v1 versus team modes. Cosmetics do not change stats — a flashy skin from weapon skins is vanity only.
S-tier weapons dominate ranked pick rates without hard counters in current patch. A-tier weapons excel situationally or demand higher mechanics. Lower tiers remain viable for fun loadouts but lose statistically in even-skill duels.
After every major patch in patch notes, revisit rankings. Yesterday's S-tier rifle can drop overnight.
Mode-specific meta
1v1 favors precision burst and dodge-punish weapons with reliable ADS. Team modes reward forgiving hip-fire SMGs and area pressure tools. Our full weapon tier list notes mode splits where relevant.
